Wasps Nest Yard
These photographs show the same view of the alleyway leading to Calverts Lane seen from the Wasps Nest Yard side. The first, courtesy of Brian Kemp, was taken in 1974 while the second was taken in 2010. Wasps Nest Yard, which is part of the Stockton town centre Cultural Quarter, has recently undergone a major transformation and is now a residential area.
